「かつて、こんな時代がありました。」
そう語られる時が、今の世にもいずれ訪れる。
嵩山に安置された観音像はその歴史と共に風化し、再生されてきた。
旧太子駅には、戦中にその目的を果たさず、稼働を終えた遺構が保存されている。
物体は変化するが、つくられた当時から守られてきたものがそこにはある。
当時の人々から見れば、今は未来だが、未来の人々から見れば今は過去だ。
思い描いた未来は現実とかけ離れた姿で立ち現れ、思いを巡らせる過去もまたしかり。
未来の姿に思考を巡らせる。

“Once upon a time, there was an era like that.” The story of the present will be told someday in such a way. In Takeyama, stat-
ues of the Goddess of Mercy have been restored. During World War II, former Oshi Station was built for the Japanese army but
now it’s not operational. All we can see are the remains of that station. Although things change over time, some things remain
the same. People in the present will dream of the future, just as people in the future will remember the past. Both what we predict the future to be and what we think the days of the past were like, are never truly accurate. I imagine a future where we could’ve met.
