TETTA による三十三間堂プロジェクトの関連イベントです。
これまでに1950名(2023年5 月現在)を超える参加者が観音菩薩に変身してきました。
観音菩薩は「人々を救い、文化を守り、伝えゆくものの象徴」です。
参加者は極彩色のメイクを施し、仏となって顔写真を撮影します。
顔写真は全て左顔をシンメトリーに合成し、人間の顔から少し逸脱した仏顔へと再構成されます。
顔写真の撮影後、清見寺境内にある蓮台での撮影をし、中之条の町の魅力を再発見する旅に出かけましょう !
This is an event by TETTA from the Sanjusangendo Project. By May 2023, more than 1950 participants will have been made up as Kannon Bosatsu. The Kannon Bosatsu (Bodhisattva) Buddha statue is “a symbol of saving people and protecting culture.”Participants wear colorful makeup and have their portraits taken as Bodhisattva. All portraits will be reconstructed into the face of a Buddha statue, slightly displaced from the human face by combining the left side of the face symmetrically. After the portraits are taken, participants will be photographed at the lotus stand of Seikenji Temple. Participants will then embark on a journey to rediscover the charms of Nakanojo Town!
