私は「傷」を装飾し「美」に転じさせる金継ぎの思想から着想を得て、ガラスを素材とした衣服を制作しています。私たちは自らの傷を衣服のうちに覆い隠し、もしくは美しく装飾し、あるいは剥き出しにして生きています。これらのガラスの衣服は、金色の傷が在ることで、その姿を留めています。
時間が閉じ込められたようなこの空間は、通り過ぎた歳月を思い起こさせます。
この世界は「そうではなかった人生」にあふれていますが、それでもなお抱えてきたこの傷と共に、ただあるがままにそこに「在る」ことの奇跡について皆様と考えたいと思います。
Inspired by the idea of Kintsugi, which decorates “wounds” and transforms them into “beauty,” I create clothes using glass as a material. We cover our wounds with clothes, decorate them beautifully, or live with them exposed. These garments of glass are held in place by the presence of golden scars. This time-bound space reminds us of the passing years. This world is full of “life that wasn’t so,” but I would like to think with everyone about the miracle of “being” there as it is, with these scars that I still carry.
