水は日常ありふれた、しかし最も重要な物質である。様々な形状、状態であらゆる物質と関係し、影響を与える。水は創造と破壊の両面をもたらし、必要不可欠でありながらも、時に脅威となる存在である。我々が目にする自然の風景はその繰り返しの結果であり、自然の現象や人の歴史、そして引き起こされる感情は、水との関わりに置き換えられるのかもしれない。
この作品で私は、地表を模した白い粉の板に、異なる量、形状の水を与えた。また実際の雨にその板をさらした。土は水との関係で様々な表情を作り出し、白の大地はその造形を強調する。

Water is very common but one of the most important substances on the earth. It relates to and influences all matter in its various forms and states. Water is both a creator and a destroyer, an essential and sometimes threatening entity. In the same way for lives, it is essential and could be a threat. The natural landscapes we see are the result of water’s repetition, natural phenomena and human history, and the emotions they provoke may be replaced by our relationship with water.
In this work, I applied different amounts and shapes of water to a square of white powder that mimics the earth’s surface. Some
of the squares were exposed to rain. Water creates thousands of patterns of surface, and the colorless ground highlights the difference.
