少し前に友人から「フィンランドの伝統的な食べ物は何ですか?」と聞かれ、私は答えられませんでした。グローバル化とデジタル化がもたらす多くの影響の一つに、伝統的な食べ物やレシピ、調理法についての知識が失われていることが挙げられます。私たちは伝統的な食べ物をどれくらいの頻度で食べているでしょうか?その調理法を知っていますか?その歴史や由来を知っていますか?
家庭でのレシピは、今日どのように受け継がれているのでしょう?伝統的な食べ物は、グローバルな世界でどうやって生き残るのか、あるいは生き残る必要があるのでしょうか?この作品は、フィンランドと日本の伝統的な食べ物と、その変化、そして未来を、様々な角度から、さらには矛盾する角度から見た、実験的なマルチチャンネル・オーディオ・ドキュメンタリーです。
