商店街のバッグ製作をきっかけに 2022 年から始まった伊勢町睦会×吾妻中央高校×西岳拡貴によるプロジェクト。吾妻中央高校環境工学研究部の学生が『測量』と『アート』を使い地元商店街の形や可能性をデザインしていきます。2022 年は商店街の座標(X・Y・Z)を測定しました。測定した座標を使い商店街の形をデザインし、オリジナル生地を製作。2023 年は商店街の座標・歴史などを使いバッグの形をデザインし、実際に使用でき、販売できるバッグを製作します。『地域×高校生×アート』2年間の製作成果を展示します。

This is a project by Isemachi Mutsumikai, Agatsuma Chuo HighSchool, and Hiroki Nishitake, which began in 2022 with the creation of shopping street bags. Students from the Environ-mental Engineering Research Department of Agatsuma Chuo High School use “surveying” and “art” to design the shapes and possibilities of local shopping streets. In 2022, the coordinates (X,Y,Z) of the shopping district were measured. Using the measured coordinates, we designed the shape of the shopping street and produced an original fabric.

In 2023, we will design a bag using the coordinates and histor-ical elements of the shopping street. The end result will be a practical bag that can be used and made available for sale. We will exhibit the results of our two-year collaboration between
“Region x High School Students x Art.”
