旧五反田学校 全長二十七間 (50.9m)
校舎の一角から同じ距離(50.9m)を逆円錐形の色とりどりの石の花を一直線上に等間隔に並べてみる。共通する要素として建物やそこに関わった人たちのイメージを造形化し、日常(既存)の中に溶け込みながら以前にはなかった「場と空間」を獲得して一つの風景になることを願う。私は存在のもう一つを別の場所に入って常に探し物をしています。
The former Gotanda School has a total length of 27 ken (50.9m).
Using that distance (50.9m), from one corner of the school building, I arranged a straight line with colorful inverted conical
stone flowers. As a common element, I will sculpt the image of the building and the people involved in it, and hope that it will
become one landscape, acquiring a “place and space” that did not exist before, while blending into the everyday (existing) world. I am always on the lookout for something to enter another place of existence.
