山村は都会の子宮 The Countryside Is the Uterus of the City

作者は、妊娠の過程を示す刺繍と、地元の方の衣服を組み合わせてインスタレーションを制作しました。都会とは山村の胎内から生まれるようなものですが、山村は出産を経験すると、何度も孤独を味わいます。作者は妊娠の過程を、都市と農村の発展過程に重ね合わせ、都会と山村の関係を温かな姿勢で描いています。

The artist combines embroidery showing the pregnancy process with clothes from local villagers to make an installation.
The city is like being born in the womb of the countryside, but the countryside is lonely again and again after experiencing childbirth. The artist echoes the process of pregnancy with the process of urban and rural development, and thinks about the relationship between the countryside and the city with a warm attitude.
