何度となく通った中之条の記憶にはいつも水の流
れる音が響いている。何かを思い出そうとする時
にそのもののイメージが濃くなったり薄くなった
りして、掴めそうですり抜けていくあの感覚は、
水の流れを眺めている時の気分に似ている。私の
中に入った水はもうもとの水ではないが、絶える
ことなく流れている。
The sound of flowing water always echoes in my memories of Nakanojo, which I have passed through many times. When I try to remember something, the image of the thing becomes thicker or thinner, and the feeling that I seem to be able to grasp it, but it slips away, is similar to the feeling I get when I watch the water flow. The water that has entered me is no longer original water, but it continues to flow without disappearing.
