中之条での私のプロジェクトは、歴史的な過去の証である古いもの、使われなくなったものを集め、組み立てることで、この場所の歴史を結びつける糸を創り上げることを意図する。
過去が現在にあることを思い出させてくれるトーテム。
One of the explanations given to justify the construction of totems, cult objects dating back to Native American civilization, is that of social memory. My project in Nakanojo aims to collect and assemble old, disused objects, testimonies of a historical past with the intention of creating a thread to unite the histories of the place. A totem to remind us that the past is present.
