When I first entered this house ten years ago, it was already abandoned. It seems as if the traces of human life are still here, but the wood and tatami mats, which are gradually returning to the soil, tell me that they are indeed continuing to move. For this project, I will confront the house itself, which has long since ceased to be inhabited, by considering it as a material. A “home”
is what we define for ourselves as the area we can control in this boundless world. To me, it seems to overlap with the way people themselves are. I confirm the connection to this world from “home” which is out of control.
