齋木 三男 Mitsuo Saiki Mitsuo Saiki

中之条のシンボル、霊山嵩山に鳥居を作りたい。
長さ 3m の御影石の笠木を両脇に植樹した木が柱となり、やがて石を支える。
というのも、石、木、大地、山の神が、一つとなり結界として意味をなすのは数百年後。
誰も見ることのできない現実、未来への希望、共存を提示する作品です。

I want to make a torii gate at Reizan Takeyama, the symbol of Nakanojo. Trees planted on both sides of the 3m-long granite coping serve as pillars, which will eventually support the stones. The stones, trees, earth, and the mountain gods will not become one and make sense as a barrier until several hundred years from now. This work presents a reality that no one can see, hope for the future, and coexistence.
