くじびきドローイングin中之条ビエンナーレ Kujibiki Drawing in Nakanojo Biennale
くじびきドローイングのルールはとてもシンプルです。くじを引き、そこに書かれていた言葉をお題に絵を描き、次に自分もくじの言葉を残す、そして誰かがその言葉を引いて絵を描いてくれる、というものです。テーマはコミュニケーション。
誘惑に勝てずくじを引いてしまったとき、誰にでもあるアーティストの扉が突然開き、絵は必ず出来上がります。それを見ると、人の想像力の無限に気付かされます。そしてそこには詩でも日常でもないことばの世界が広がっています。

The rules of Kujibiki Drawings are very simple. You pick a random word from a lottery box and then use the word as a theme to draw a picture. After, you leave your own word inside the lottery box for someone else to pick as a theme for their drawing. The theme is communication.
When you cannot resist the temptation of picking from the lottery box, the door of the artist inside everyone suddenly opens and a picture is always created. When you see it, you are reminded of the limitlessness of the human imagination. And there is a world of words that is neither poetry nor everyday life.
