水が鏡のように滑らかだった風のない暑い夏の日のことを、私は思い出さずにはいられません。皺一つない水面であったからこそ、ナルキッソスは彼自身に恋をしました。この同じ水が、けたたましい風によって黒く変色し、全てを飲み込んでしまうなどとは想像がつきません。《あなたはここにいる》は、彫刻的な映像インスタレーションであり、水のあらゆる姿を調査したものです。映像の内容はオランダと日本の水から作られました。この 2 つの実際の場所の他に、水の性能をシミュレートする 3D ソフトからも作られています。そのさまざまな形状の全てが一瞬を表しています。

I cannot help recalling a hot summer day, with no wind when the water looks mirror-smooth. Narcissus fell in love with himself
because of the wrinkle-free water. That this same water can be turned so black by a screeching wind that it swallows everything is then almost unimaginable. “You Are Here” is a sculptural video installation, an investigation into the many guises of water.
The video content was created using water from The Netherlands and Japan. In addition to these two physical locations, 3D software was also employed to simulate the performance of water. All those various forms represent a moment. As soon as you register it, it becomes something else.
