気韻の場 Place of Qiyun

曾超 Zeng Chao Zeng Chao

今日の中国においては、都市化が進み、以前には見られなかったような経済とテクノロジーの価値を中心とした街の風景があふれている。それでも今なお伝統的な「仮山石」が都市の中の庭園にたたずんでいる。私は、様々な筆致の運用に基づいて仮山石を画面に描き出すことを制作のテーマの中心としている。ここで、「気韻」という概念の意味の重要さを再認識するとともにその概念の現代芸術表現上の新たな可能性として再検討しようと試み制作を進行させた。

Rockery is a model based on the characteristic natural stone that has been used in the history of Chinese garden modeling. I made this Rockery the center of my motif theme, and the work was formed in its various forms. The subtitle of this paper, “Place of Qiyun” is based on philosophy represented by inspiration. Through the work, I tried to reveal various themes such as temporality, spatiality, conflict, and harmony, where all things depend on Rockery and places, and all things depend on each other. Asking the world about the great works that lead to the “Place of Qiyun” is an extremely challenging attempt at expression for me.
