古今東西、仮面は人々を魅了してきた。Makoto の作る白い仮面達は、初めにライフマスクを準備し、それを基に和紙を使って制作する。ヴェネチアのカーニヴァルの時に用いられる仮面の制作技法と、日本の伝統素材を融合させている。またダンサーとのコラボレーションによって、無表情であるはずの仮面が何かを語り始める。白い仮面が織り成す物語。
Masks have fascinated people from ancient times to the east and west. The white masks made by Makoto first prepare a life mask and then use Japanese paper to make it. It combines the mask-making technique used during the Venetian carnival with traditional Japanese materials. Also, in collaboration with the dancer, the mask, which should be expressionless, begins to talk about something. A story is woven by white masks.
