このインスタレーションは、アーティストの現在の状況からその脈絡を引き出し構築したものです。横田は東京に、ハンセンはコペンハーゲンにいるので、彼らの毎日のリズムは必然的に真逆となります。一方で太陽が昇ると、他方では沈みます。太陽はふたりの多様に違う背景に互いを結び付けるものとされ、ふたりのアーティストたちの作品は、太陽によってそこに存在し、繋がるインスタレーションを実現しました。
The installation draws its context from the current situation of the artists. Yokota being in Tokyo and Hansen in Copenhagen, their daily rhythms are inevitably opposite to each other. The sun enters one part of the world as it leaves the other. Using the sun as the glue between their different contributions, the artists have created an installation that is to be performed and connected by the sun.
