自然と生活に距離ができて景色になった。コロナ禍によってオンラインの時間が増えたことで、私たちの視界からその景色すら遠ざかったようにも感じる。今から 50 年前、六合村では６つの山を巡ることで集落が潤っていた。山を壊さないように必要な分だけ取り、未来へつなげる生活が営まれていた。私たちの生活も身体も循環の一部であるという、当たり前のこと。それは何も変わらない。雨が降るのを待ちながら、そういったことを考えた。雨水が溜まり水盤が出現すれば、室内に景色が現れるだろう。
The landscape is the result of the distance between our lives and nature. I feel the landscape is far from our field of vision because of increased time online due to Covid-19. Kuni village has benefitted from the local mountains. To preserve the mountains for the future, they only took what they needed in a sustainable way. It’s obvious that our lives and bodies are a part of nature’s cycle. I was thinking about this while waiting for the rain. The landscape will appear in the room when rainwater comes and creates a water mirror.
