離れた場所からこの地域を眺めると、人々が見せたい、大切に思う土地の姿が見える。目に映るものはあくまで表面だけれど、現されることで、それも真実になっていく。日常と非日常、現実と理想の合わさった「おもて」をなぞるように、土の表面を刻む。やきものに残る私の行為の痕跡が立ち上がり、景色をつくる。一つの白い影が案内役です。
When you look at this area from a distance, you can see the image of the land that people want to show and cherish. We can only see the surface, but as it is shown, it becomes the truth. I carve the surface of the clay as if I trace the surface of the daily life and the extraordinary life, the reality, and the ideal. The traces of my actions on the ceramics rise up and create a landscape. A white shape leads the way as a guide.
