私はこれまで空間に対する絵画の可能性をテーマに作品制作を行ってきた。この作品は人々の架空の故郷とそこにある感傷的なイメージについて、空間と作品の違和感や親和性を利用して探ろうとしたものである。
この作品は私の個人的な作品であると同時に、困難または思い出に対して人がどの様に対処するべきかという普遍的な問いでもある。
I have been creating works on the theme of the possibility of painting for a space. This work seeks to explore people’s fictitious hometowns and the sentimental images there, taking advantage of the work’s unnaturalness or affinity for the space.
