In 2019, I stayed in Kuni, Gunma, for about a month. Because of the high altitude, wild and beautiful flowers can be seen everywhere. I walked, lived, and did things there every day. I made a video work related to local flowers. My vision was strongly impacted by the grand flowers blooming. I haven’t had that experience before. I figured out the appearance of the falling flowers and took a video of the performance. The plan template develops into a series of video works. This year I took materials related to the local area of Taiwan. I used Taiwanese materials to echo the video produced in Japan before last year. In my daily life, I often see overripe fruit falling on the side of the road or the ground near the vendors selling fruit in the market. The fruit rots and bursts with juice. This image was lingering in my mind. I often observe these scenes. In this video, I throw the overripe fruit from a high place and film a work that echoes the work of flowers in the same performance way.
