祖父の手紙 Letter From Grandfather

祖父は詩人でした。最近になって父から段ボール一箱分の祖父の遺品を託されました。そこには原稿や手紙、本などが入っていました。私が幼いころ亡くなった祖父について持っている記憶は、仏壇の写真だけでした。その面影を想像しながら作品をつくっています。

My grandfather was a poet. Recently, my father entrusted me with a box of my grandfather’s relics. There were manuscripts, letters, books, and so on. My grandfather died when I was young. The only memory I had was a picture of a Buddhist altar. I am making work while imagining the image.
