《もし、あなたに聞こえるなら》は、参加型アートプロジェクト《Sound of Your Heart》から発展したインスタレーションおよび映像作品である。本作は、日本で暮らすフィリピン人移民労働者の日常の静けさと、彼らの生活が容易で裕福であるという母国における誤解との間に対話の場を創出する。映像には、参加者の記憶、歌詞、描画、シンボル、言葉が断片的に映し出され、彼らの内面世界を可視化する。また、彼らが大切にしている個人的な品々も展示される。過去と現在を結ぶ記憶の地図を通して、本作は静かなる声として、遠く離れた存在に耳を傾けることを促す。
“If You Hear Me” is a solo installation and video art piece born from the participatory work “Sound of Your Heart.” It bridges the quiet, unseen lives of Filipino migrant workers in Japan with the often romanticized view of migration back home. Through fragments—songs sung in solitude, drawings in color, memory maps, and cherished personal artifacts—this work gathers emotional traces of displacement, resilience, and longing. Each object, lyric, or mark becomes a whispered call across distance. If You Hear Me is not a loud cry, but an offering: an invitation to truly listen, to look beyond remittance and routine, and to recognize the deep humanity behind each migrant journey.
