私たちが暮らす街には、たくさんの音が溢れています。特に市街地で聞こえる車から出る音はとても身近なものです。そんな近い将来、エンジン車は電気自動車に置き換わって行くと、街の音はどんな感じになるのでしょう？そんな疑問を、新しい音を作り出すことが得意なQUENELLEは将来の車の音を体験させてくれます。トラックのエンジン音から、電車や自転車、人の歩く足音など、あなたの街の音を集めながらQUENELLEは走ります。

A car that carries the sounds of the city.

The city we live in is filled with sound. Among them, the sounds of cars are especially familiar. In the near future, as gasoline-powered cars are replaced by electric vehicles, what will the soundscape of the city become? “Quenelle,” a project that explores new possibilities in sound design, invites you to experience the sounds of future cars. From truck engines to trains, bicycles, and even footsteps, Quenelle moves through the city, collecting and playing back its many voices. It offers a glimpse of what tomorrow’s urban environment might sound like.
