観音菩薩さまになってみよう!!@清見寺 Let’s Try Makeup to Be Kannon at Seikenji Temple

TETTA による三十三間堂プロジェクトの関連イベント。 これまでに 2000 名を超える参加者が観音菩薩に変身して きました。観音菩薩は「人々を救い、文化を守り、伝えゆくも のの象徴」です。参加者は極彩色のメイクを施し、仏となっ て顔写真を撮影します。 顔写真は左顔をシンメトリーに合成、人間の顔から仏顔へと 再構成します。清見寺境内にある蓮台での撮影をし、中之条 の町の魅力を再発見する旅に出かけましょう !

This event is part of TETTA’s Sanjūsangendō project. Over 2,000 participants have transformed into Kannon Bodhisattvas—a symbol of saving people, preserving culture, and passing it on. Participants wear vivid, colorful makeup and have their photos taken as Buddha figures. The photos are digitally reconstructed by symmetrically mirroring the left side of the face, creating a Buddha-like image. Afterward, enjoy a photo session at Seikenji Temple and embark on a journey to rediscover the charm of Nakanojo!
