長くインドの石仏を研究してきた佐藤宗太郎氏は、匂いと色 と形を使ってほとけを表現した作品を展示していますが、作 品の前で、独自の演奏を追求してきたチベッタンボールの演 奏で、音でも「ほとけ」を表現します。9 月 30 日にはペルー 人に奏法を学んで 25 年の演奏歴を持つ南米アンデス地方 の民族楽器サンポーニャ奏者の青木大輔氏が共演します。 出演:佐藤宗太郎、青木大輔
Sotaro Sato, a long-time researcher of Indian stone Buddhas, presents an exhibition of works that channel the essence of “Buddha” through scent, color, and shape. He will also give a special performance in front of his art, expressing “Buddha” through the sound of Tibetan bowls, played in his own uniquely cultivated style. On September 30, he will be joined in a collaborative performance by Daisuke Aoki, a master of the Zampoña, a traditional Andean folk instrument. Mr. Aoki brings 25 years of experience to the stage, having originally learned his craft from a native Peruvian player.
