At Tsumuji Footbath, I heard families chatting while soaking their feet, and noticed small exchanges with people from other prefectures and countries. Outside, birds seemed to gather in the trees and talk. I felt that these moments truly reflected the unique and wonderful local community of Tsumuji Footbath. This time, I used my pet zebra finch, “Faputa,” as a motif. I hope this work brings healing, evokes memories, and connects people to the parallel world of local communities, similar to those found in old offline games.
