群馬県の歴史的遺産である絹と鉄に敬意を表した、光のインタラクティブ・アート。寄贈された着物などの衣服が、群馬の城や遺跡を彷彿とさせるパッチワークの壁に縫い付けられています。それぞれの布のブロックには個人的な物語が織り込まれ、それらが合わさることでコミュニティを象徴しています。中央の円形の開口部はUVライトで照らされた空間へとつながり、そこで作品は光によって変化します。このゲートはユートピアや理想の未来を反映し、より大きな何かの存在を示唆しています。
The interactive light artwork honors Gunma Prefecture’s heritage through silk and iron. Donated clothing, including kimonos, is stitched into a patchwork wall echoing Gunma’s castles and ruins. Each fabric brick holds a personal story; together they symbolize community. At its center, a circular opening leads into a UV-lit space where the artwork is transformed by light. The gate suggests something greater, reflecting on utopia and an ideal future.
