時の記憶の庭 Garden of Memories of Time

この場所は、かつて多くの人々が癒しを求めて訪れた憩いの場でした。賑やかな声、湯の温もり、そして安らぎの記憶が刻まれています。しかし、時が経ち、その役割を終えた今、施設は静けさに包まれ、かつての喧騒は遠い日の夢となりました。
私は、この場所に生息する苔に注目しました。苔は、静かに時を刻み、古いものを包み込み、新たな生命を育む力を持っています。苔を一面に敷くことで、この廃墟を単なる「廃れた場所」ではなく、「時の記憶が再生される庭」へと変容させます。

This place was once a place of relaxation where many people came to seek healing. Memories of lively voices, the warmth of the hot springs, and peace are etched in the memory. However, as time has passed and its role has ended, the facility is now enveloped in silence, and the former hustle and bustle has become a distant memory.

I focused on the moss that grows here. Moss has the power to quietly mark the passage of time, envelop the old, and nurture new life. By covering the area with moss, I will transform this abandoned site not simply into an “abandoned place,” but into a “garden where the memories of time are revived.”
