コロナ禍に始まった作品《線材意識体》は、潜在意識と繋がりながらねじる行為が形になったもので、自己と世界の存在の関係を実感することにつながった。108個の繭は生命の象徴であり、人間の煩悩でもある。細い鉄線で構築される空間は私達の世界の強固さと脆さを併せ持つ。
遠く闇に沈んで見える世界は、戻れない懺悔や絶望の過去かも知れない。しかし、私たちは鎮魂の後、明るい未来の希望に向けて旅をしなければならない。

The work “Wire Material Consciousness Body,” which began during the COVID-19 pandemic, was a form of the act of twisting the wire rod, which led to a real sense of connection with the existence of the world. 108 cocoons are a symbol of life and human troubles. The space built with thin iron wire has both the strength and fragility of our world. The world that seems to sink into the darkness in the distance may be a past of repentance and despair that cannot be returned to. However, after calming down, we must travel toward the hope of a bright future. I would like to express my deep gratitude to Asahi Straight Industrial Co., Ltd., which is exploring the potential of iron wire as a modeling material, for providing it.
