10年前、通勤中に絵を描き始めたことがきっかけで、「日々ドローイングプロジェクト」という作品が生まれました。ニューロンや細胞の複雑な描写から、奇妙で謎めいた有機体、さらには神秘的な地図まで、多岐にわたるドローイングは、多くの反響を呼んできました。「日々ドローイング xyz」では、これらのドローイングの3次元での可能性を探求し、日々ドローイング言語を用いて立体作品を創り出しました。本展では、形と記憶の複雑なネットワークへと変容した大規模コラージュ作品「残り思い出2024」も併せて展示します。
Ten years ago, I began drawing during my daily commutes. These drawings gradually evolved into the Daily Drawings Project, which now boasts over 2,000 drawings. These drawings have garnered a wide range of responses, from intricate depictions of neurons and cells to bizarre and enigmatic organisms, and even mysterious maps. I’ve often pondered the potential of these drawings in three-dimensional space. “Daily Drawings xyz” is an installation that employs the language of my Daily Drawings to create three-dimensional forms. “Daily Drawings xyz” is accompanied by large-scale Memory Remnants collages from 2024, which have been transformed into intricate networks of forms and memories.
