眠い。
今回で3回目の参加となる中之条ビエンナーレ。
私は何のために中之条に来ていたのかを考えた。
が、1日の1/3を睡眠に充てているという当たり前のことに気づき、中之条に意識的には「作品制作」をしに来ているつもりでも、無意識下では「睡眠」のためにも中之条に来ていることに気づいた。

そんなストイックな私は無意識下でも現代美術家であるために、睡眠を取りながら作品を作らなければならなくなった。眠い。

Sleepy. This is the third time I have participated in the Nakanojo Biennale. I wondered what I had come to Nakanojo for. I realized that I spend a third of my day sleeping, which is a matter of course, and even though I consciously think I am coming to Nakanojo to create artwork, subconsciously, I am also coming to Nakanojo to sleep. Being such a stoic, even unconsciously, I had to sleep and create artwork in order to be a contemporary artist. Sleepy.
