The artist, a stringed instrument craftsman, creates an instrument called the Aeolian harp. This stringed instrument, whose sound is produced by natural wind, is said to have existed since Greek times. This work expresses the existence of wind, otherwise invisible, by making it visible and audible through sound sculpture.

There is a legend of a Tengu at Mount Takeyama, and the mountain’s peaks are named after the Tengu. The wire ropes stretched across Mount Takeyama are likened to strings stretched by the Tengu, and the sound of the wires vibrating in the wind can be heard in this sound sculpture.
