私はテーマ、媒体、場所を移しながら空間に対しての思考を作品にしている。

陶土での制作からはじまり、建築、彫刻を学ぶ。
粘土で建築模型の制作をするうちに、空間を作ることと造形をすることの認知の境界が曖昧になった。
そこから空間とは、四方を囲む壁のように物体によって定義されるものではなく、物体の存在によって個人の内で創造させられる感覚ではないかと考えるようになった。
それが発展し建築から「空間」に焦点を変え、物体の在り方によって人の感覚がどのように創造させられるのかをテーマとして制作をはじめる〔《ある空間》2023年〕。

その後、テーマは「空間」から「距離」、「部屋」へと細分化される。
「距離」では、ものとものの間に膨大な空間があるという感覚を人が創造することに加え、歩行などの身体的な遠さに対する時間の感覚も孕んでいるのではと考え制作をしている〔《飛ぶ視線、泳ぐ身体》2024年、《巡りゆく自立塔、孤立塔》2024年〕。
また私自身が定義した「部屋」では、実在しないが記憶やイメージとして自身の中だけで創造された内省空間について制作をしている〔《マイルーム》2023年〕。

現在、私は私自身が実在する場所に持った特別な感覚を昇華させ視覚化するような作品の制作を目指している。

I create my work by changing theme, medium, and field.

My creation began with work in ceramic clay, followed by studies in architecture and sculpture.
As I made architectural models with clay, my cognitive boundaries between making space and modeling became blurred.

After that, the theme was subdivided into “distance” and “room” from “space.”

I create with the idea that “Distance” is a feeling created by a person’s perception of the vast space between two objects, and it also involves the sense of time related to physical remoteness. 〔《Flying Gaze, Swimming Body》2024, 《Touring Independent Tower, Isolated Tower》2024〕

For the theme I define as “Room,” I create works about introspective spaces that do not physically exist but are formed solely within an individual’s memory and image. 〔《My Room》2023〕

Currently, I aim to create works that visualize and refine the special spatial sensations I experience in the real places.
