映像というメディアそのものについての考察を通じて、映像化された現実世界の構造を変革する可能性を追求している。作品では、現実の世界をイメージとサウンドに分離し、再構成することにより、現実を映像の論理で思考し、再表象する。映像を用いて、シングルチャンネル、インスタレーション、パフォーマンスを制作。
Started making video works from 1998, driven by the inuence he received from
avant-garde cinema and video art. He explores the possibility of altering the structure of real life framed as video, through a close study of the media itself. In his works such as single-channel video, installations and performances, he divides the real world into image and sound and then reconstructs them, through which he engages myself in reection of the reality by the logic of video and re-presentation of it.
