どんな光や温度を感じていたのか。
きっと私よりも
石の冷たさ 土の温もり 水の香り
死の恐怖 暗闇の色 星の煌めき
いろんなことを知っている。
そんな彼らの一部が生み出す表情を
私はただただ見つめてしまう。
I imagine the history of this leather in my hand.
When it was alive,
what kind of time passed through it.
What kind of light, and what kind of temperature was it?
It would know much more than me,
The coldness of stones
The warmth of earth
The fragrance of Water
The fear of dying
The colour of darkness
The glistening stars
It knew them.
The expression that they make
I can’t help staring.
