1976年マニトバ州フリンフロン生まれのデニス・リンは、オンタリオ州トロントを拠点に活動するカナダ系台湾人の彫刻家です。吊り下げ型、立型、レリーフ型の彫刻を制作し、パターンや素材への郷愁、帰属感といったテーマを探求しています。リンは、ブロンズや木材、石などの再利用素材を頻繁に使い、それらに込められた物語やエネルギーを引き出しています。

Dennis Lin (b. 1976, Flin Flon, Manitoba) is a Canadian-Taiwanese sculptor based in Toronto, Ontario. Working across suspended, standing, and relief sculptures, he explores themes of pattern, material nostalgia, and belonging. Lin often works with salvaged materials such as bronze, wood, and stone, drawing out the stories and energies embedded within them.
His practice blends meticulous conservation with the emotional weight of preserving stories that might otherwise fade. Through his evocative forms, Lin creates spaces of remembrance—challenging the inevitability of loss while affirming the enduring connections between past and present.
