世の中に存在する膨大な量の写真達。
そのほとんどは公にされることもなく忘れられていきます。
しかし、私はその全てに残していく意義があると思っています。
その理由は私が今までの活動を通し得たある感覚に基づきます。
それは世界は誰かにとっての「特別な場所」が集積して作られているという感覚です。
忘れられていく写真達にも、誰かの「特別な場所」が写っていたはずです。
そんな写真と場所の輝きを伝えるべく活動しています。
There are a huge number of photographs in the world.
Most of them are never made public and are forgotten.
However, I believe there is meaning in preserving all of them.
The reason for this is based on a feeling I have gained through my activities up to now.
This is the feeling that the world is made up of an accumulation of “special places” that were important to someone.
Even in forgotten photographs, there must have been someone’s “special place” captured.
I am working to convey the brilliance of such photographs and places.
