画家。アクリル絵具の皮をコラージュして制作する風景画や人物画、インターネットや雑誌などから参照した写真を再構成して超現実的世界を描く油彩画などを制作。一貫して絵画を創る本質に迫る。
2008 武蔵野美術大学造形学部油絵科卒業
Painter. Sugita’s work is broadly shown in Japan and overseas.
He produces collage-like landscapes and figurative paintings depicted by placing fragments of dried acrylic paints. He also makes oil paintings where an ultra-realistic world appears by reconstructing photos found in magazines or on the Internet. His approach is always focusing on exploring the essence forming paintings.
