いまここに
My research corresponds to my experiences of weaving (traditional dyeing method using natural materials in an island in Okinawa ) and pottery with natural glaze … in relation to the forces of nature.
These experiences guided my artistic approach, and clarified my ideas.
My work can not be completed without having interactivity with these elements, such as water, air, fire, soil.
Each existence has its characteristic, its own nature, also for the inks and the papers I use usually – even if they are made with chemical compositions. Their encounters emerge magical reactions. This magic completes my work.
Repetition, invisible change, invisible border, which are recalled in my works since the beginning of my research.
Or, maybe, rather from my childhood – since I asked myself
“What is beyond the sky?”
“When will I become an adult?”
I try to interpret an imperceptible, elusive phenomenon with multiple medium.
The engine of creativity is Sense of wonder.
And it opens a door to new worlds.
I continue my search for meeting the moment of astonishment that touches the bottom of my heart.
I contemplate ”Passage of time” since the birth of the universe.
