かつて沢渡で輝いていたヒカリゴケは、姿を消した
気候や落ち葉が幾重にも重なり光を遮ったのだろうか
生と死は循環の中にある
木も苔も菌も鉱物も、互いにつながりあい孤絶してはいない
そして私たちもまたその環に息づき
いつしかその連なりへと還っていく

Once, Hikarigoke (Schistostega pennata), a luminous moss, glowed in Sawatari. Perhaps layers of fallen leaves and shifts in climate blocked the light. Life and death exist within the flow of cycles. Trees, mosses, fungi, and minerals—none of them live in isolation. They are linked in mutual interaction. And we, too, breathe within that circle, eventually returning to the great chain of connection.
