一人ひとりが持つ“個人”の肖像をテーマに、色々な地域の人々とプロジェクトを実践、記録しています。
アーカイブの手法は、絵画、映像、インスタレーションなど様々です。
その時、その場所で、その人々としか起き得ない「出来事」は、当事者にとってはドキュメンタリーでありながら、目撃者にはファンタジーのようでもあります。
他人の目に触れることで物語性を持ち始め、そして私はその一人ひとりの物語が続くことを願っています。

 

I practice and document projects with people from various communities on the theme of portraits of the “individual” in each person.
The way of archiving is various, such as painting, video, and installation.
The “events” that can only happen at that time, in that place, and with those people are like a documentary for the people involved, but also like a fantasy for the witnesses.
It begins to take on a story when it is witnessed by others. And I hope that each of their stories will continue.
