The starting point for this installation is my preoccupation with questions of memory and narrative. Similarly to earlier projects, here too the emphasis is on the viewer’s experience creating individual experiences of ‘revelations’ thatoccur as one approaches the work.
The fragmented images are reflected by the black water pool reverbrating the way in which we accumulate moments into memory as a whole: while we can easily make sense of specific moment, we cannot access or vividly understand others.
The viewer is constanly in an act of exploration which is conceptual as well as it is physical .Circulating around the installation has a similar experience to any attempt in comprehending a narrative, a memory.
