「歌舞伎ing」は、江戸時代の芝居小屋をヒントに、演者と観客の間に生まれる一時的な関係を体験出来る作品です。
この作品は、観客の自主的な参加なしには成り立たないため、特定の地域の人々を観客、その地域に所縁のある場所を会場とし、その土地ならではの演出をすることで、唯一無二の体験を提供しています。
Our work “KABUK-ing” is a site-specific live event, which is inspired by Kabuki theatre in the Edo period. This event makes a temporal unique situation between actors and audiences.
We have made an attempt to choose a historical venue and place, which is special for the local people for some reason, and we have incorporated local history into the live event in order to create a much more site-specific relationship between actors and audiences.
